A Working Mother Became a Stay at Home Mother?
Home and Family: Motherhood • Published: November 19, 2008
Someone used to call me 'Nyi' (=madam) a long time ago. Nyi is a Sundanese (west Javanese) language. I'm a true Sundanese because I grew up in Bandung (the capital city of West Java) and my parents as well as my grandparents are Sundaneses too. Though I feel like I've lost my culture ever since I got married to my husband, who is from Padang (west Sumatera). He likes only a few Sundanese food, understands a few of the language but cannot speak it, meanwhile I like Padang food very much (it has lots of spices and herbs) but don't understand the language at all.

Home and Family: Parenting • Published: September 8, 2008
I will have to make cooking a familiar task for each of my three children when they have grown up. My target is that they will be able to prepare at least 10 of their favorite food. It is also, as I've told my oldest daughter, one of the five conditions I've stipulated for those who will be my daughter/son in laws. There are five reasons why a parent must be able to cook.
Create Happy Moments With Your Children Each Morning
Home and Family: Babies Toddler • Published: August 22, 2008
How a young child (1-3 years old) wakes up in the morning will determine his/her mood during most of the daytime. A young child who starts the day in a happy mood, will most likely remain a happy child. On the contrary, a child who wakes up with lots of whimpers will continue whining until someone does various extra efforts to cheer him/her up.
